Program Description:

Campus Events

Terra Dotta University encourages all students and faculty to become actively involved on campus with student organizations.  Campus events are opportunities to further social and educational interactions outside the classroom.  Students and faculty can broaden their views through the various cultural and entertainment events held throughout the school year.Campus Event

Types of Events

Events that you or your organization can register include but are not limited to university-sponsored lectures, workshops, meetings, training programs, arts, events, sporting events, and social events.  Events must be of broad interest to the overall campus community or the general public.

Event Services

When planning a campus event, students and faculty are allowed to reserve university grills for preparing food to be served.  For more information on grill reservations, contact the Food Services Office.  It is standard procedure to have a Fire Marshall inspect the condition of your event location two weeks prior to the event. in order to approve of the use of university grills, tents, or any other necessary materials.

Terra Dotta University Police officers and support staff are a smart addition to your gathering.  If you wish to request officers or fire inspectors for your event, please visit the Terra Dotta University Police Association website for contact information and applications.  University Police ask that you complete the application and schedule a meeting with Sargent Eddie Smith at least three weeks prior to the event.

Be aware, your organization will be charged the current hourly rate for each officer that is requested.  A 24 hour cancellation notice is required or your organization will be billed a minimum of four hours work for each officer requested.
