Faculty-Led Programs

Foster an International Community and Drive to Study Abroad

All TDU faculty and staff members are encouraged to promote the idea of spending a semester or year abroad.  Cultural awareness and appreciation are integral aspects of a TDU education.  It is our mission to mold our students into well-rounded global citizens.

It's been proven that students are much more likely to study abroad if they feel that their professors, academic advisors, and study abroad advisors are supportive. We want to make it easy for you to be able to guide your students academically through this process, and to support your students' applications through letters of recommendation.

Propose a Faculty-Led Program:

There is a world beyond the classroom.Take your students where they need to go to get the most out of their time and TDU.  Make them the great global citizens they can be while enhancing their job prospects by leading your own program.

As a leader of short-term study abroad programs, you are undertaking the direction of what undoubtedly will be one of your students' most significant and memorable academic experiences.

Please make an appointment with the Study Abroad office.  They help coordinate interdisciplinary programs, collaborate on marketing and promotion, facilitate the development of application and informational materials, and provide samples and models of former successful programs and budgets.
